Working with Enterprise Library 5 I can't get over how much the configuration editor has changed since previous versions. In Enterprise Library 4.1 and before, the configuration editor was a tree view representations of all the application blocks in your app.config, web.config, etc. In Enterprise Library 5, the configuration editor is breaking out of the tree view and offering a bit more flexibility for application blocks. Shown below you will find an early preview of the configuration editor in Enterprise Library 5. I am sure it will change a bit when Enterprise Library 5 is finally released around the same time as Visual Studio 2010, but you can at least see a little bit about what the Enterprise Library Team and Microsoft has in store for us.

I'll be presenting Enterprise Library 5 around Florida this year. You can check my upcoming Florida Developer Presentations as I start to add more and more.
