Frans Bouma is giving out sneak peeks of LLBLGen Pro v3.0 due out in beta around January 2010. He has two videos you can watch that primarily focus on the designer.
The first LLBLGen Pro video looks at creating a custom type list based on query result from some C# or VB.NET code that you write against the model meta-data here.
The second LLBLGen Pro video shows model first development using QuickModel via the designer and then taking that model and mapping it to an Oracle database here.
What I find even more interesting about LLBLGen Pro v3 is that it will not only target the LLBLGen Runtime, but also support NHibernate, Entity Framework, and LINQ To SQL! This is ultra cool!
