Interesting to see another code analysis and refacting tool add-in for Visual Studio. Telerik purchased a company and talented developer group responsible for building Just Code.
Just Code is a Visual Studio 2008 Add-In, currently in beta with a free download, that provides code analysis and refactoring functionality similar to products like JetBrains ReSharper and Developer Express' Refactor! Pro. As to how Just Code compares to the other two products I have no idea. It looks very similar in terms of how code analysis warnings and errors are reported in the IDE, etc., but my guess is that ReSharper and Refactor! Pro probably provide a lot more functionality at this time.
Based on Telerik's website, they seem to be focusing on the performance of Just Code. So, if you are using a competing code analysis and refactoring tool that seems way too slow for your needs, that may be a good enough reason to try out Just Code.
I viewed most of their videos and Just Code looks pretty good. I wonder it will compare in price when it is released :)
You can view the videos here ( read more on this blog post, too ) and give it a spin if it looks interesting. If the beta version worked in Visual Studio 2010 that would be cool, but right now it only works in Visual Studio 2008.
