Presenting Enterprise Library and Unity in Ft. Myers Florida

Patterns and Practices GuidanceRight after the South Florida Code Camp I will be presenting Introduction to Enterprise Library and the Unity Application Block in Ft. Myers Florida on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Rasmussen College.

This will be a really fun talk as we not only have time to introduce the various application blocks and Unity but we will also have time to get even deeper and show examples of integrating Enterprise Library and Unity in real-world ASP.NET Webforms and MVC Web Applications. Therefore, if you are interested in any of the following application blocks in Enterprise Library:

  • Data Access Application Block
  • Caching Application Block
  • Validation Application Block
  • Exception Handling Application Block
  • Cryptography Application Block
  • Security Application Block
  • Policy Injection Application Block
  • Unity Application Block

I hope you will attend the presentation in Ft. Myers on Tuesday, February 10, 2009.

Note that you don't have to build enterprise applications to appreciate the productivity and maintainability benefits of using Enterprise Library and Unity in your applications. Enterprise Library and Unity are equally useful in database-driven applications and/or smaller applications. We will discuss just how easily you can integrate them in your applications, how much productivity you gain by writing less code, and how easily you can adapt and change your applications by taking advantage of the loose-coupling inherent to the various application blocks.

Learn more about the time and location at the SouthWest Florida Developers' website.
