Antioxidants Polyphenols and Free Radicals - Grape Juice and Green Tea

I find it interesting that the recent Welch's Commercial on TV mentions various technical terms like antioxidants, polyphenols, catechins, and free radicals with an attempt to educate the listener in a quick 15 - 30 seconds. I suspect this is due to consumers reflecting on his/her health around the first of the year as well as the growing interest in being healthier in the U.S.

I have to admit that my main reason for drinking green tea, juices, and healthier wines while avoiding pepsi, coca cola, etc. is mainly to stomp out free radicals. There are no guarantees in life, but I would like to be as healthy as possible in my life to keep things drama free as well as spend more time with my children and my children's children.

Kudos to Welch's for their attempts to educate consumers on the health benefits of choosing a particular drink over another. Even though it is their marketing strategy to make a buck, I applaud anything that makes people choose a healthier lifestyle.
