Another free and awesome application on the iPhone is the Remote iPhone Application from Apple. The iPhone Remote Application allows you to control iTunes on your Mac as well as your Apple TV using your iPhone or iPod Touch. In particular, it is the control of the Apple TV that I like the most. The AppleTV UI is awesome in iteself, but using the iPhone Remote Application just feels that much easier IMHO to browse through your catalog of music and movies and play them on-demand using your iPhone.
The fact that it uses the Wi-Fi network, allowing me to be in a whole other room, is just plain awesome.
