Free Open Source ASP.NET 3.5 AJAX Portal Improved - Dropthings v1.6

I talked about Dropthings some time ago:

Omar has upated Dropthings to version 1.6 which has a number of performance and scalability improvements.

Dropthings comes complete with source code and a book you can purchase separately to learn how to create an AJAX Web Portal. Dropthings is a sample application using a number of newer technologies:

• ASP.NET 2.0
• ASP.NET AJAX (.NET 3.5)
• Linq to SQL
• Linq to XML
• Workflow Foundation (.NET 3.0)
• Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2005
