MVP Bundle Screencast - Learn ASP.NET MVP Design Pattern Using WCSF and Without WCSF

by David Hayden ( Florida Web Developer ), Filed: Web Client Software Factory

MVP Bundle ScreencastFor those of you interested in learning the Model View Presenter Design Pattern in ASP.NET, the Microsoft Patterns & Practices Team released an MVP Bundle as a part of the Web Client Software Factory v2.0. The MVP Bundle contains two quickstart examples with guidance on implementing the MVP Design Pattern with and without the Composite Web Application Block, which among other things, provides Dependency Injection services using Object Builder.

I created an MVP Bundle Screencast that walks you through the two quickstart samples in the MVP Bundle, pointing out all the cool features in the WCSF to help with Model View Presenter as well as all the 3rd party Dependency Injection and Mock Frameworks that you can use if not using the WCSF and Composite Web Application Block.

If you want to learn more about implementing the Model View Presenter Design Pattern in the Web Client Software Factory after viewing the screencast, I recommend the following screencast which talks more about the View-Presenter Pattern in the WCSF:

The MVP Bundle Screencast went a little longer than expected at 29 minutes, but if you are new to the WCSF and/or MVP in ASP.NET, I think it will be worth watching:
