MSDN Webcasts: Validation Application Block and Policy Injection Application Block

MSDN Webcasts: Validation Application Block and Policy Injection Application Block

by David Hayden ( Microsoft MVP C# ), Filed: Enterprise Library 3.0

A couple of very cool MSDN Webcasts coming up next week on the Validation Application Block and Policy Injection Application Block.

Tom Hollander invited me to sit in on the Validation Application Block Webcast with him. I'll be the sidekick saying “That's Right, Tom. The Validation Application Block does rock!“ :)

I highly recommend watching the two MSDN Webcasts and then coming to the Day of Patterns & Practices Event in Tampa Florida on May 25th where I will be showing these two application blocks in action.

Introducing the Validation Application Block

May 1st at 1:00pm PDT

The patterns & practices Enterprise Library 3.0 includes a Validation Application Block that can help you define validation rules consistently and apply the validation rules in different layers of your application. Join this session as we describe and demonstrate the features, architecture, and implementation of this new application block. Register

Introducing the Policy Injection Application Block

May 8th at 1:00pm PDT

The Policy Injection Application Block is a new addition to the patterns & practices Enterprise Library 3.0 that enables you to define policies that can be applied before or after calls to your business objects. Each policy consists of a chain of handlers that typically implement cross-cutting concerns by calling other application blocks or frameworks. Join this session as we describe and demonstrate the features, architecture, and implementation of this new application block. Register
