Enterprise Library 2.0 December Update - Interim Community Drop

I wonder how many people are beta testing the new Enterprise Library for the .NET 2.0 Framework?

I am not testing, but I look forward to its release as it is supposed to not only take advantage of the new features in .NET 2.0, but also address a number of concerns in the community on the way-too-tight integration of the blocks and the complicated effort to deploy for less-complicated solutions.

A December “Interim Community Drop” has been released that doesn't even get the designation of a CTP :)  The code sounds good, but the group is concentrating on getting it out the door as opposed to preparing a CTP.  This has to mean it is really close for release.

According to Tom:

“We are now code complete on all blocks (with the exception of Cryptography), including all of the designtime and config tool. We still have a bit of testing to do, and bugs are trickling in – but they are all being fixed quickly and we are very happy with the stability of the library. So much so that we have just published the December “interim community drop” of the latest code to the community. This code is very high quality, but we haven’t gone through all of the packaging and polish that went with the CTP”
