I drink 4 cups of high quality green tea each day: 2 cups of green tea in the morning and 2 cups of green tea in the evening. I mainly drink green tea for its health benefits, but I am quite happy to see green tea as part of Dr. Perricone's Five-Day Menu Plan to help you feel good and age well.

Dr. Perricone's Five-Day Menu Plan: Day 1 Sample Menu
Breakfast
- 1/4 cup cottage cheese topped with 1 Tbsp. sesame seeds
- 1 oz. smoked salmon or lox
- 1/4 cup slow cooked oatmeal
- 1/4 pink or red grapefruit
- 8 oz. green tea or water
Supplements
- Daily supplement regimen
- 2 high quality Norwegian Fish Oil capsules
Lunch
- 6 oz. grilled Turkey Burger (Get the recipe!)
- 1 cup tossed green salad dressed with 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil and juice of 1/4 lemon
- 2-inch wedge of cantaloupe
- 8 oz. water
Supplements
- Daily supplement regimen
- 2 high quality Norwegian Fish Oil capsules
Snack
- 2 oz. sliced chicken or turkey breast
- 3 almonds
- 1 medium apple
- 8 oz. water
Dinner
- Grilled Trout
- 1 cup steamed broccoli
- 1/4 cup mixed berries
- 8 oz. water
Bedtime
- 6 oz. plain yogurt
- 1 small pear
- 3 almonds
- 8 oz. water
As for green tea, I highly recommend a high quality Gyokuro or Sencha green tea, which will be packed full of polyphenols and antioxidants.
