For the past two evenings I have been drinking Green Peony Green Tea, which is also often called Sea Anemone Green Tea because that is what it looks like after steeping.
Green Peony is more or less a “display tea” because it is skillfully crafted by hand and it somewhat animated while steeping. This tea is made from quality spring-picked leaves, then hand-tied into beautiful rosettes. It is typically one of those green teas you would steep in a wine class to impress guests.
Green Peony Green Tea has a distinct flavor. I am actually puzzled as to how to describe it. Some green tea stores describe it has a sweet taste, but I don't consider it sweet. I guess you have to try it yourself as everyone's taste buds are a bit different.
Because it has a very light cup color, you don't have to worry about it staining your teeth. It is also impossible to over steep and brew incorrectly. And, it is very easy on the stomach and can be sipped day or night.
