Sencha Green Tea from Fuji and Shizuoka Japan

As many of my readers are aware, besides running a successful website development business, I am also the owner of an online green tea store.  I have been drinking green tea for 5+ years and it is a passion of mine to say the least.

I am really excited about a new shipment of Sencha Green Tea from Fuji and Shizuoka, Japan.  Sencha is one of my absolute favorite teas.  It brews to a bright green cup and is amazingly refreshing to drink.  I just took my children for a walk in 80 degree, humid weather in Sarasota, Florida, and brewed a quick cup of Sencha that is amazingly thirst quenching.  I can hardly believe it myself :)

I have two kinds of Sencha right now, both being of considerable high quality - premium Sencha if you will.  Both are from the March 2005 harvest and come from Fuji and Shizuoka, Japan.  Both have a nice subtle vegetal flavor that is really quite pleasing.  Although many descriptions of Sencha use the term sweet to describe the taste, I have never really tasted a sweetness to Sencha.  However, depending on your taste buds, you might consider the flavor of Sencha to be sweet.  Some say it is also good with chocolate, but I am not a chocolate lover so I cannot tell you if that is true or not.

For people wanting a good quality green tea to drink that is high in antioxidants, easy on the stomach, and thirst quenching, I highly recommend Sencha Green Tea.  My wife and I sell it at our online green tea store if you want to give it a try.  Please tell me what you think!
